Celebrating the People Behind the Scenes: Our Maintenance Teams-image

From October 16th to October 20th, our community came together to honor the fearless team members who keep our spaces vibrant and functional—the Maintenance Teams. Day in and day out, these dedicated individuals ensure our community shines, whether it's battling snow, prepping new apartments, handling plumbing snags, or beautifying our grounds.   Our week-long celebration was a tribute to their tireless efforts:   Monday - Fueling Up: We kicked-off the week with an array of snacks and treats, a small gesture of appreciation for their hard work. Tuesday - Sips and Comfort: Fresh local cider and delectable doughnut holes were served, offering a comforting indulgence to lift spirits and warm hearts. Wednesday - Uniting for Fun: Bringing together our entire team—Maintenance, Leasing, and Home Office—we embarked on a day of camaraderie and joy at Buffalo Battleground. Lunch, laser tag, axe throwing, arcade games, and a delightful happy hour created unforgettable memories, marking the close of a bustling season. Thursday - Energizing Spirits: Following our adventurous outing, our Community Managers treated the team to a much-needed caffeine boost with cups of steaming coffee.   Friday - Tokens of Appreciation: A hearty breakfast awaited our Maintenance team, accompanied by a special gift—a cozy Buffalo Bills Blanket, symbolizing our shared love for our home team! Our Maintenance Teams, with their unwavering commitment, ensure that our residents experience the best of our community. It shines brighter because of them! Cheers to our Maintenance Teams—the silent champions who make everyday life extraordinary!   Check us out on our Facebook Page here: https://www.facebook.com/AutumnCreekApartments

Celebrate Father's Day in Style-image

There are few things better than taking some time to honor and thank the people in our lives who have taught us, shaped us, and been there for us throughout our lives. On June 17th, we can take some time to celebrate men who are our personal superheroes, our fathers (or other father figures), on Father’s Day. Today we are sharing some ideas about how to celebrate the holiday on our Autumn Creek Apartments Blog.   Father’s Day Gifts While a tie or a wallet is a perfectly acceptable gift, here are some other gift ideas that are a little more tailored to your dad.     Hobby — Most dads have a hobby. Do some detective work and find out what would make a great addition to his hobby, and get it for him. Or if you don’t know exactly what to get, purchase a gift certificate to a shop that caters to his hobby.   Tickets — Tickets are a great two-for-one gift. You can give your father something he will enjoy, and you can go with him. (Even if you don’t live in the same area, you can do this and he can take someone along with him.) Sporting events, concerts, theater tickets all make great gifts.   Photos — Sometimes the simple things are the best gifts. Choose a favorite photo of you and your dad and turn it into a puzzle, or order a mug featuring the photo, or simply be creative, there are dozens of photo gift ideas to choose from.   Meaningful Messages Gifts aren’t always necessary, but everyone appreciates receiving a thoughtful card or letter. It’s an awesome way to honor your father. This year take some time to write and share with your father why he’s your personal superhero — the reasons you admire and love him. (If this isn’t something you can do, for whatever reason, perhaps choose someone you love and respect and pen a note to them.) In your note, be specific. Share experiences that taught you something or that hold a special place in your heart. Write about the qualities you see in your father that you appreciate and strive to emulate. Tell him about how he has shaped your life. Include a favorite photo of the two of you if you have one.   We hope you have the opportunity to connect with your father, whether that is in person here in East Amherst, NY or via letter, phone, or a visit to wherever he may be. Thanks for reading today’s post.
