Pet Spa Grand Opening at Autumn Creek Apartments

We know that pets are furry family members and we gladly welcome your dogs and cats. In fact, we’re excited to announce the recent unveiling of our new Pet Spa, just the latest endeavor to provide pet-friendly living at Autumn Creek Apartments. The Pet Spa is located right behind the clubhouse and pool. It will be open seasonally from April - November. Just stop by the leasing office to sign out a key! In conjunction with the grand opening in September, we also held a Doggy Pool Party with plenty of treats, toys, and of course photos — check out Facebook for pics of the party . Feel free to visit the Dog Park with your canine companion. We’re sure you both will love it, and while you’re at the dog park, take time out to relax under our new pergola. Autumn Creek Pet Policy Pet Fee We require a one time non-refundable Pet Fee of $500 for the first pet and $350 for each additional pet. Also, for each pet weighing 75lbs. or more there is an additional $100 non-refundable pet fee. No Hidden Fees As a convenience to you, there is no additional monthly Pet Rent, Pet Security Deposit or Pet Move Out Fees. Short Stays No problem, your pets are welcome! There is an additional monthly short term Pet Rent of $150 for the first pet and $50 for each additional pet for a maximum of 4 months. Breed Restrictions Apply Dog breeds known for aggression are prohibited. This includes but is not limited to Pit-Bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, Chow Chows, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Akitas, Dalmatians, Siberian Huskies, Mastiffs, American Bulldogs, Hybrid Wolves, or other dog breeds known for their aggression. No mixes of these breeds will be allowed. License & Vaccination Required All dog owners are required to furnish a copy of current rabies inoculation as well as a copy of a current canine license. Introducing Valet Trash & Recycling at Autumn Creek Apartments

A brand new service has come to Autumn Creek — Valet Trash and Recycling services are now a part of our amenity package. After careful consideration, we are partnering with Valet Living to bring this service to members of our apartment community. Valet Living is the only nationally-recognized full service amenities provider for the multi-family industry. We are excited to be working with them on behalf of our residents. We hope you are as excited as we are about this at-your-doorstep, 5-days-a-week pick-up schedule — which will definitely save you time. Plus, no more lugging the trash to the dumpster, which is an especially appealing perk when we’re in the middle of inclement weather. Please refer to the information you received for details regarding pick-up schedules, preparing for pick-up, recycling guidelines, and for the dedicated support service number. Recyclable items include plastic, paper, metal, and glass. Key highlights for prepping trash and recyclables: Bag and tie all waste Double bag pet waste Break down all cardboard boxes Bundle newspapers and magazines Aim to keep bags at 25 lbs or less Place items out between 6-8PM This is a new service, and our goal is to make a seamless transition; however, there may be changes and improvements implemented along the way to make it a better experience for everyone. We are excited to announce that Autumn Creek has earned the ENERGY STAR® certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for 2019! The next time you visit, check out the recognizable etched label on display at our entrance – it represents proven, verified superior energy performance over a 12-month period. In fact, ENERGY STAR certified buildings perform in the top 25 percent of similar buildings nationwide! This is the first year that Autumn Creek Apartments has earned the ENERGY STAR. By meeting these strict standards, Autumn Creek Apartments is saving energy, saving money, and helping protect the environment by generating fewer greenhouse gas emissions than typical buildings. For more than 20 years, EPA’s ENERGY STAR program has been America’s resource for saving energy and protecting the environment – today, thousands of facility owners and managers use ENERGY STAR to improve the energy performance of their buildings. We received a score of 98/100, indicating that we perform better than at least 98% of similar buildings nationwide. We are committed to going green and being an environmental leader. We credit this success to the efforts put forth to install energy saving low-flow toilets, shower heads, and faucets. Additionally, we have installed new energy efficient LED lights in each apartment and around the community. Finally, better windows were installed to improve insulation. Summertime Funtime: Getting Out and About in WNY

Summer is here in full force which means it’s time to head out for day trips to see what the city has to offer. We’ve rounded up some activities we think members of our community here at Autumn Creek Apartments will enjoy, all within easy driving distance of East Amherst, NY. Sail into Summer — July 4th-7th Looking for something a little different to do this month? Check out Sail into Summer, wherein Buffalo is “welcoming a fleet of historic tall ships from across the United States, Canada, Spain and the South Pacific making their first port appearance at the downtown waterfront for Basil Port of Call: Buffalo. The celebration will kick off with a Parade of Sail at 3 p.m. on the Fourth of July when the ships will move under full sail past the landmark Buffalo lighthouse.” Click on the link above for more detailed information. Wild Renn Fest — July 20th - 21st Take a step back in time and let the Wild Renn Fest introduce you to the sport of kings, falconry during the flying bird show at the Wild Renn Fest. Apartment-Safe Decorating Tips

There are plenty of reasons to love apartment living, but decorating an apartment can be difficult. Often, there are restrictions on how many holes can go in the walls, painting, and installing hardware. Mirrors Mirrors are an easy way to open up an apartment and visually add space to a room. This is especially effective if you’re living in an apartment. If you want to make your space feel a little bigger (even if, unfortunately, you can’t actually add square footage to your apartment) hang a large mirror looking out on the room. You’ll suddenly feel like you’ve got a lot more room to relax and breathe. Plants Fresh cut flowers can brighten and liven up any room. They also allow you to change up your apartment’s look from week to week. Go with a hydrangea arrangement this week and a bouquet of garden roses the next. Live plants, if you can keep up with the care, are also a great way to add some color to your apartment. If you’d love to have a few live plants, but don’t have a green thumb, look into buying succulents or cacti. They’re low-maintenance and pretty easy to care for. Photos Make your walls feel personal with pictures of friends or your favorite works of art. Pictures and paintings don’t just serve to add a little personality to your blank walls — they also serve as useful conversation starters when you have new guests or friends over. Throw Pillows The next time you pick out throw pillows stay away from the typical brown, black, or gray and go for something that fits your personality and interests. Throw pillows come in all different colors and patterns, feature famous quotes, and even display the portraits of famous historical figures.
